My ultimate advice for an unforgettable holiday party…? Be creative and think outside the box! Personalized touches are key to planning a memorable party. Forget about what society and tradition dictate and make your holiday party totally your own. These tips and so many more are available in my party planning how-to-guide, Everything I Needed to Know About Life I Learned from an Event Planner, available at Bering’s!
TIPS
Create an Instagram #Hashtag
We all know friends and family will be snapping Instagram-worthy photos all night long. Ask your guests to use a personalized hashtag for the night, that way you can view the photos easily and makes it fun for your social-media savvy guests.
Personalized favors are a great way to share something personal with your guests. Be creative. One option is to purchase inexpensive bottles of wine and create a personalized bottle label wishing your guests a fun and safe holiday. It’s also a great gesture for thanking them for attending your holiday party.
Non-Alchoholic Cocktail Options
Be mindful of your guests that do not drink alcohol. Always have a non-alcoholic cocktail option. This is a great drink to try at a holiday office party: (1) Cranberry Juice (2) Apple Juice and (3) Ginger Ale. …Add a candy-cane for a festive look!
North Pole Cupcakes
Make it a Christmas party to remember, where the kids can get involved in helping with the party. All you need are regular vanilla cupcakes, frosting, candy-canes and red M&M’s. This will have your guests talking long after the party is over.
