Ho Ho Ho! ‘Tis the Season for Ornaments Galore!

From Mark Robert’s enchanted fairies to Christopher Radko’s poodle ornament, if you can dream it then we probably have it at Bering’s. Not only do ornaments look great on holiday trees, but they also make great gifts. Ornaments can also be used as thoughtful supplement to a gift. You can jazz up a package by adding a small ornament that coordinates with the gift’s theme or the wrapping paper.

This year most of the holiday ornament manufacturers have taken a more vibrant approach to color then in years past. On our religious motif tree, you’ll find beautiful cherubs, angels, and scenes of the baby Jesus adorned in bright blues, emerald greens, and regal shades of purple.

Jewish Holiday OrnamentsIn addition to the aforementioned adornments, we also carry various Judaica ornaments. These decorations compose one our most sophisticated garlands with hues of blue and white with pops of gold. We also have in store Hanukkah decorations which include, but are not exclusive to, Waterford dreidels and menorahs by Michael Aram and Waterford.

Garland with ClocksQuick tip: Add a bit of whimsy to your holiday garland or tree by incorporating a few less conventional items into the décor. The garland pictured at right utilizes clocks of various sizes among the traditional elements. Their brassy color keeps these whimsical treasures in harmony with the other items throughout the garland.

If you’re pet lovers like us, be sure to check out the numerous dog breed ornaments on our pet tree. From Shelties to pugs, manufacturers like Old World Christmas have got you covered. Also, if you really want to spoil your pooch this holiday season, you might be interested in the food and water bowls by Juliska and Vietri. They can easily coordinate with any home décor. Who says that functionality can’t be fun?

Christmas Cookie Jars and Snow GlobesIf you’re like many of us and already have too many ornaments, a snow globe or cookie jar might be just what you need this holiday season. Although these items are generally more expensive than the average ornament, they tend to have a longer life expectancy and are low maintenance. All you have to do is unpack the item each season and voila!—You’re ready for Christmas!

On our gentlemen’s tree this year, we have all sorts of “manly” themed ornaments. There are BBQ-grilling Santas, champagne bottles, and fishermen just to name a few. In addition, there are also collegiate-themed ornaments so that your family can continue with their school pride and family traditions.

Last but not least is the Christopher Radko ornament tree. Each year Radko comes out with completely new and beautiful ornaments, and this year is no exception! This year Radko has introduced multiple 2012 dated ornaments and also the Classic Carols Collection. Like its namesake each ornament in the Classic Carols Collection features a beautifully detailed ornament depicting a Christmas scene. These ornaments are sure to be sought after and widely collected this year.
