Festive Holiday Tables

It is amazing how quickly summer goes by, only to be met right around the corner with the holiday season. There is truly never a dull moment! The tough part is finding time to actually enjoy the holiday cheer in your own home – with items you already have! While going out and buying festive décor for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more is a good plan for some, you might be surprised to see how easy (and fun) it is to transition your tabletop to a Halloween treat or a Thanksgiving blessing to behold!

If you are at all familiar with our tabletop blog posts, then you are probably familiar with our love of mixing and matching to make the most of your fine china. Decorating for the holidays is no different. It just provides for a little more creativity! We will share some options to help with your holiday tabletops ranging from chargers and service plates to table linens and more – all in colors to inspire festive looks!

However, first things first and we are excited to share some decorative tabletop pictures that were recently taken in the gift shop at Bering’s on Westheimer! …This fall meets Halloween inspired tabletop is a chic way of setting your table for the holiday without going over the line and making it “too done up!” Less is more usually applies, and as previously mentioned, decorating for the holidays is no different!

This tablescape is set to perfection with Mottahedeh’s Chinese Red service plates with Herend’s Chinese Bouquet dinner plates, Karen Lee Ballard napkins, and La Maison’s Opperette crystal stemware.

Pickard is another fine china manufacturer that produces some of the most elegant as well as colorful options to dress up your setting. For example, if you have an all green and white place setting you might choose to use a red or crimson charger for a Christmas look. Or a brown or burnt orange for more of a fall, Halloween or Thanksgiving theme.
