Fall Fashions for Tots to Tweens

Seasons come and seasons go, and well – so do certain styles of clothing. When you find clothing that you and your children both like, now that is something to smile about! Our children’s department buyer found some truly spectacular fall pieces at market this year. From brands such as Ralph Lauren, Florence Eiseman, Elisa B., Un Deux Trois, E Land, Tractor Jeans, Hartstrings and more!

While the true classics, like beautiful smocked dresses and handsome button down shirts with a crisp pair of khakis is always in style – sometimes even the savviest fashion minded tot to tween needs to express a little personal style. This can be achieved in a number of ways, such as incorporating a certain fabric like leather or pleather, a bold pattern, etc. From faux leather to boots and fur with animal prints – the options are exciting as well as plentiful!

Our first look is from a line called Mayoral. Mayoral has some great pieces this season. As seen at right, the pleather skirt (faux leather) is super cute with a vest, or you can pair it up with the sleeveless sweater seen below. Both are great options!

If you prefer to stick with the classics, as mentioned above, then you are sure to love the Ralf Lauren look featured below. The shirt dress is a timeless look that will make school days a bit more pulled together.

Moving on with a couple more traditional favorites, this cute duo below is right on pace!

As seen above and below, white tights are the perfect accessory for so many fall and winter looks. Aren’t the models precious?!

However, sometimes girls just want to be girls and well, the same is true for boys.

The brother and sister team featured at left illustrate this look perfectly with a leather bomber jacket and a perfectly pink girly dress with tutu bottom!

If faux leather, tutus, tights and button downs have you yawning or are not for you, then what is not to like about a pair of boots?!!! Boots work tucked in or out, with skirts or pants. Here are some ridiculously cute looks!

A pink dress with black boots is a great way to mix up an outfit! We also love the scarf. And another sweet option with boots: The jean jacket and matching red hair bow with red boots is always an A+.

And if you really want to play up the boots, then why not take it all the way! We especially love the cowboy look! One last look that includes boots is the preppy look. It is so very cute and good for all ages!

If sleek and sophisticated is the look you are going for, then Un Deux Trois is the brand! The model below is wearing an amazing dress from their fall line. She looks gorgeous!

Fur and animal prints are another fall and winter favorite that are sure to be a classroom favorite for back-to-school. The zebra flats look great with the solid colors and fur vest!

And we all love colored jeans. The mustard color jeans below are an excellent shade that is good year round! And here is a final “furry” shot to inspire you to have some fun with your children in selecting their school attire!

Even if a uniform is required for your children – try and have a little fun with helping them select their clothing.
